Solutions From Medical Immunology Specialists

About Us

Today, there are many primary-care and family physicians who attempt to treat your allergies and asthma with “hit or miss” therapies. But when you or a family member are suffering from a condition that makes carrying out your daily activities difficult or affects your life in so many ways, you don’t have time to play hit or miss. You want relief, and you want it fast.
As a board-certified and fellowship-trained allergy and asthma specialist for both children and adults, Dr. Applebaum begins your treatment with a thorough exploration of your symptoms, their causes, and the most effective course of treatment for them. As an excellent diagnostician and an expert on allergies (including food allergies), asthma and sinusitis, he will begin effective treatment right away.

Dr. Applebaum treats children as young as 3 months of age and adults into their 90s. He also focuses on the wide range of Allergic conditions that can result in respiratory, gastrointestinal, urinary, musculoskeltal and skin disorders.

Meet Your Doctor

Eric S. Applebaum, MD, FACAAI
I had a longstanding interest in how the immune system works. Allergy and immunology was a way to pursue my interest in caring for patients. I also enjoyed the idea of specializing: becoming an expert in one area rather than trying to remain competent in all areas as a generalist. I was interested in seeing patients of all ages, especially multiple family members. I wanted to make a difference in patients’ lives and help with illnesses often ignored by other physicians. I mostly enjoy seeing how much better patients feel and how quickly they realize that they have been suffering unnecessarily for such very long periods of time. I treat patients like intelligent people capable of understanding their conditions and the treatment options available. I treat patients the way I want to be treated when I have to see a doctor. I want my patients to know that there are no hopeless cases. I am their advocate in every way they need me for their allergic problems. I take it as a personal challenge to help them live better.
When not working, Dr. Applebaum enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters, traveling, watching pro basketball, reading, and cooking.
